EMS (English Made Simple) Language Centre is one of Kuala Lumpur's most established and internationally recognised English language schools — founded in 1996 and located at Megan Avenue II, just steps from KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers. EMS serves international students from 30+ nationalities with a full range of programmes: Intensive General English, IELTS, English for Work, Speaking, PTE Academic, and Summer/Winter Camp. What sets EMS apart is its integrated University Admission Consultancy service — helping students move from English study directly into a Malaysian or international university at no extra cost.

EMS combines three decades of experience, a genuinely multicultural student community, and a unique built-in university pathway service — making it one of the most complete language-to-university solutions in Malaysia.
EMS offers a free University Admission Consultancy service to all students — covering both Malaysian and international universities. This is rare among language centres and makes EMS the ideal single destination for students who want to improve their English and then proceed directly to a degree — with no separate consultancy cost or additional agency.
EMS (English Made Simple) was established in 1996 — making it one of the longest-running English language centres in Kuala Lumpur. Its nearly three decades of experience serving international students from over 30 nationalities gives it a depth of institutional knowledge that newer centres cannot match.
EMS offers a dedicated Starter level for students who are completely new to English — including those with no prior exposure to the language. This is explicitly confirmed on EMS's official website and makes EMS uniquely accessible to Arab students from non-English educational backgrounds.
EMS provides an airport pickup service for all new students — an EMS representative meets students at KLIA and assists with immigration clearance. This is particularly valuable for Arab students arriving in Malaysia for the first time, removing the stress and confusion of navigating arrival alone.
EMS runs a monthly social activities programme — "Cool Fridays" — which includes movie sessions with teachers, paintball day trips, and city exploration events in and around Kuala Lumpur. These activities are designed to practise English in real-world social settings while building friendships across 30+ nationalities.
In addition to IELTS, EMS is one of the few KL language centres offering dedicated preparation for the Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) — recognised by thousands of universities and governments worldwide including in Australia, UK, and Canada. Students who prefer PTE over IELTS have a dedicated preparation track at EMS.
EMS offers 6 English programmes covering every level and purpose — from Starter-level beginners to exam preparation and professional English for the workplace.
EMS's most popular and comprehensive programme — a multi-level intensive English course covering all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Classes run 9am–4pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am–1pm on Fridays, with a lunch break. Includes a Starter level for complete beginners. Weekly progress assessments. Students can combine with IELTS or Speaking classes. Visa support documentation provided by EMS.
A strategically designed IELTS preparation course covering all four exam components — Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Includes proven strategies, timed practice tests, critical thinking development, time management skills, and personalised feedback. EMS recommends students apply for a 4-month study period with a 6-month visa for exam preparation pathways.
A focused programme designed to raise confidence in spoken communication and improve English fluency. Ideal for students who have basic reading and grammar knowledge but lack confidence speaking English. The course uses interactive activities, debates, presentations, and role-play to develop natural, fluent spoken English in real-world situations.
A professional English programme teaching business communication skills — writing emails, making presentations, negotiating, and communicating in international workplace environments. Available at EMS premises or delivered at your business location. Ideal for professionals and students planning careers in international companies or corporate environments in Malaysia.
Dedicated preparation for the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic — an internationally recognised English proficiency test accepted by universities, colleges, and governments worldwide (especially popular for Australia and UK). Real-time simulations, personalised feedback, and test-taking strategies tailored to PTE's unique computer-based format. One of the few KL language centres offering this specialised track.
An immersive English programme for students looking for a fun, intensive short-term experience in KL. A truly international experience with over 30 nationalities in a stimulating environment packed with activities — classes, cultural excursions, city exploration, and social events. EMS provides restaurant vouchers for meals during the programme.
EMS has a Starter level for complete beginners — all new students sit a free placement test on Day 1. Classes run morning and afternoon sessions Monday to Friday.
