How to Join Sheffield Academy — Step by Step

1–2 days2.Submit Online Application & Documents
We help you complete Sheffield's online application at sheffield.edu.my. Required documents: passport photo (white background), full passport PDF (18 months validity), high school certificate, age 18–44. Sheffield's admissions team reviews and sends an offer letter and invoice.
3–7 days3.Accept Offer, Pay & Student Visa Is Processed
Return the signed offer letter and proof of payment. Sheffield then starts processing your student visa. The visa approval process takes 4–8 weeks. Once approved, Sheffield sends you a Visa Approval Letter with instructions for the nearest Malaysian embassy.
4–8 weeks for visa4.Submit Arrival Form & Arrange Airport Pickup
Once you have the visa stamp, submit the Student Arrival Services Form at least 7 days before travel along with your ticket and itinerary. Sheffield arranges an airport pickup. We can also help you book accommodation at Seri Maya or Park View before arrival.
7 days before travel5.Settle In, Orientation & Start Classes
Settle into accommodation and attend Sheffield's scheduled induction/orientation on campus. Sit your placement test if not done online. Begin classes in your IGE level with a class of maximum 12 students. When ready, use Sheffield's university admission service or our free application support to apply to your degree programme.
