How to Apply to UCSI — Step by Step

1.Submit an Enquiry & Choose Your Programme

Tell us your academic background, preferred field, and budget. Our counsellors will shortlist the right UCSI programme and campus. This consultation is completely free.

1-2 days

2.Prepare & Submit Your Documents

Required: certified transcripts, valid passport (min. 18 months), English proficiency result (IELTS/TOEFL/equivalent), and a passport photo. Health programmes may require additional documentation. We review everything before submission.

3-7 days to gather docs

3.Receive Your UCSI Offer Letter

We liaise directly with UCSI's international admissions office to follow up on your application. Typical processing time is 5–10 working days after a complete application.

5-10 working days

4.Pay Registration Fees & Apply for Student Visa

Pay the RM 14,300 upfront fee package. UCSI submits your visa application to EMGS. We track this and notify you when your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is ready — typically 4–8 weeks.

5.Arrive in Malaysia & Enrol

Travel with your VAL, get your student pass stamped, and attend UCSI's orientation. We stay in contact throughout your first month to ensure a smooth start.

Does UCSI offer Medicine (MD)? +
Yes. UCSI offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) through its Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, with a total programme fee of RM 341,340 for 5 years. This is lower than Taylor's MBBS (RM 480,091) but higher than UniKL's MBBS. UCSI's medical programme is recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Why are UCSI's upfront fees higher than other universities? +
