Accommodation is usually the largest budget item for students. Options range from university hostels and shared apartments to private condos.
University Hostel
The cheapest and safest option. From RM 300–700/month, usually including utilities. The best place to meet classmates from different nationalities. Ideal for new students.
Shared Apartment
The most common choice among students. Each student's share RM 400–900/month. More privacy than the university hostel at a reasonable cost.
Private Condominium
For students wanting complete privacy or living with family. RM 900–2,500/month. Usually equipped with a pool and gym. Suitable for higher budgets.
